SLICKBAR™ SL-24AT Boom is designed to protect battleships and tankers from terrorist attacks and to contain oil spill. SL-24AT boom has marine grade stainless steel spikes to cut the bottom of a boat and it has a stainless steel wire to hook boat propellers attempting to pass over this boom. Moreover, the stainless steel wire design along the top makes the boom stronger. It will not break if boats try to pass over this boom. Water jet boats will not be able to pass over this SL-24AT boom as the bottom of the boat will be torn by the sharp stainless steel spikes. Overall SLICKBAR™ SL-24AT Boom will provide first stage protection for battleships, tankers or ships from terrorist attacks and oil spill.

HIGH BUOYANCY BOOM
SL-24AT Boom is engineered to have moderate dimension of float. The float has high buoyancy to weight ratio, so it can work in any wave condition.

HIGH QUALITY MATERIAL
SL-24AT Boom’s float is made from stainless steel or solid molded fiber and it has oil, chemical, heat and impact resistance properties. The skirt is made from rigid polyester with PVC/Urethane coating to improve its durability. The spike is made of stainless steel. Stainless steel can rip through boat propellers and it will prevent rust.
